The beginning of Waldan’s interest in watch was when he went with his father to a watch repair to let his pocket watch fixed. His father was told repairing that pocket watch will take time and costs a lot, then his father just refuse to let his watch repair and bring it home. Because of the curiosity of Young Oscar he tried to clean and fixed the watch longing to fix it but it turned out to be disassembled.

Every time he remembers that story he may laugh at it now and that incident was the beginning of his success. To fully accomplish his ambition, Waldan went to Germany to have a further study and at the same time work for some well-known watchmaker in Europe. He acquires his first job at Charles Tissot in Switcherland in 1995.

Before long he was presenting his own watch design for Charles Tissot. His first and original creation was the Tissot Navigator, an automatic watch that exhibits 24 time zones around the world. His creation was patronized by people because of its simple features.

Waldan get a chance to work in the famous Rolex collection while he is in Switzerland. He studies the most renowned timepiece with rising interest for their intricate design and accuracy of work. This is the beginning of his interest in antique watches.
